The Lithuanian Gambling Supervision Service has fined the online operator UAB Tete-a-tete casino for imposed restrictions on the size of bets for the player. A thorough check was carried out, which did not reveal any reason for this.
We add that the state regulator suspected the operator of deliberately changing the player’s contact information and the method of crediting funds – according to the official website of the Office for the Supervision of Gambling under the Ministry of Finance of Lithuania.
The amount of the fine was 15 thousand euros. This is the first fine since the regulator was authorized to impose monetary sanctions on unscrupulous gambling operators. The decision taken at the moment, according to the law, is not final, the operator can appeal against it. A more significant and pleasant moment for Lithuania in March this year was that the Lithuanian Football League A acquired a general sponsor – the bookmaker Optibet, which actively cooperates with sports organizations Baltic countries.
